About Us
Mammoth Exploration Ltd. was founded by Sean Macdonald (right), in early 2016. Although relatively new as a company, Sean is no stranger to Yukon mining and exploration. His first foray into the industry happened as a student-hire for Sherwood Copper, over a decade ago.
He then got his start in exploration with 18526 Yukon Inc., a local company carrying out staking and sampling programs throughout the Yukon.
A born and raised Yukoner, Mr. Macdonald recognizes the importance of mining activity in the North; his goal is to provide responsible, sustainable service to clients, while highlighting local know-how and dependable work-ethic.

Based out of Whitehorse, Mammoth Exploration Ltd. provides a reliable gateway to grassroots operations in the Yukon.
We understand Yukon mining, and we know the terrain. Our desire is to build long-term relationships with clients, to keep Yukoners working, and to keep industry in the North.
OUR TEAM
Our seasoned team comprises Yukon locals and First Nations; we’ve staked, sampled and constructed across the Yukon and beyond.
We have established close ties with many different outfits, ranging from the individual prospector working a few claims, to the multi-million dollar budget, aiming to break ground.
